In Mousesteps Weekly #289, we talk both Halloween and the beginning of Christmas at Walt Disney World!

We start at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground for the Fort Wilderness Halloween Golf Cart Parade and pumpkin carving competition. Fort Wilderness is a fantastic place to enjoy Halloween and other holidays! Campsites have been decorated and we also paid for the special event, Return to Sleepy Hollow and talk about that experience.

We spent Halloween evening at the various resorts meeting characters and checking out pumpkin displays, including at Disney's All Star Sports Resort, Disney's All Star Movies Resort and Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter.

Our next stop is a DVC member Halloween event that was themed to the Haunted Mansion. We didn't stay too long, but met Mickey and Minnie and had a few treats in the short time we stayed (this was a $30 event).

The next morning, we went back to Disney's Contemporary Resort for the grand opening of the Cinderella themed gingerbread display! Matty Marcone and his mom are the family that was selected to help open the gingerbread display, we recorded before getting their names.
We show the grand opening ceremony, and look at the display itself and treats.

Our last stop is the Magic Kingdom, we were there for days 1 and 2 of it being decorated! We take a look at decorations, merchandise and more. Our next show will be tips for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
